Our Story

Hilliary Jeffries, MA, SPHR

Hilliary Jeffries has over 24 years of progressive growth in Human Resources and Operations leadership roles in global, public, private, and non-profit organizations. Her passion lies in driving transformational growth and building healthy company cultures through collaboration and inclusion. Ms. Jeffries was a long time member of the Human Resources Committee of United Way of greater Cincinnati, Ohio and currently serves on the Board of Grant a Gift Autism and works closely with them on internal initiatives such as operational efficiency and culture. She founded Strategic HR Insights in 2020.

In 2018, Ms. Jeffries joined Nevada HAND as Chief Strategic Initiatives Officer (CSIO). In this role, her responsibilities included leading the development and execution of human capital development strategies to support Nevada HAND’s strategic initiatives and guiding the efforts of resource development and communications & marketing to enhance brand awareness in the community. Her legacy there includes the adoption of LITMOS learning management system, the selection and roll-out of The OZ Principle to drive the evolution of an accountability culture, and leadership and execution of the first company-wide Talent Calibration to enhance targeted leadership development, succession planning and retention of high potential talent.

Ms. Jeffries’ unique experiences and success stem from being on the frontlines leading successful cultural and operational improvement initiatives beyond typical HR programs and services. She has been at the forefront of business turn arounds that required partnering directly with business leaders on key initiatives and delivering Human Resources programs to help drive business results. Her strengths lie in building cohesive leadership teams, driving operational excellence, managing global programs for sales, performance management, culture change, safety leadership and profitability. In the last several years of her career, she led the transformation to automation of the HR function and drove the human resources due diligence and integration efforts for seven domestic and international acquisitions valued at over $350 million.

Prior to joining Nevada Hand, Ms. Jeffries served as the Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer for CECO Environmental where she managed a global Human Resources function across 24 divisions in 8 countries. In addition, she has held senior roles at global companies such as Givaudan and Citibank. She received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Cincinnati, is a certified Sr. HR Professional (SPHR) and holds several professional facilitator certifications.
